Finopotamus recently spoke with Brendan Grove, chief technology officer and co-founder of the New York City –based Prizeout. The fintech provides credit unions with the opportunity to present personalized, money-saving offers from national brands via the credit union’s digital banking platform.

As consumer preferences shift towards a digital-first mindset, credit union executives are teaming up with financial technology firms to modernize their offerings.
Brendan Grove, chief technology officer at adtech firm Prizeout, said that incrementality in some ways helps brands get a fuller picture of their marketing profile at a macro level. “Then, it is easier to start to test kind of holistically if I remove spend here increased spend here, what happens and what’s the effect post campaign on that retail segment,” he said.
Credit unions have a lot in common with Gen Z, but have yet to find a way to tap into their shared perspectives.
Michigan State University Federal Credit Union’s (MSUFCU) President/CEO April Clobes and Prizeout’s CEO David Metz stopped by the show to announce their organization’s new partnership to attract the Gen Z audience with the fintech’s digital gift card technology. The official launch takes place June 2023.
