In a conversation with PYMNTS, CEO David Metz of ad-tech platform Prizeout discussed how he’s less dazzled by the glittering realm of VC banks and more interested in leveraging community connections of this other class of FIs to bring merchants and consumers together.

Nine credit unions have joined with ad-tech solutions provider Prizeout Corp. and Callahan & Associates to form a new CUSO designed to provide the CUs with access to proprietary ad technology that “will put more money in their members’ pockets,” in addition to providing participating CUs a program to support local merchants.
A new player to the credit union space, Prizeout CEO David Metz said he became enamored with the industry while visiting a credit union client last year.
There’s a new CUSO on the block: Prizeout Partners, which will give credit unions access to ad-tech company Prizeout’s merchant gift card withdrawal platform.
Nine credit unions have partnered with Prizeout to offer their members value-added gift cards.
With access to the Prizeout program, the credit unions’ members will receive, on average, a 12% bonus when they purchase gift cards.

Today, Prizeout is partnering with a credit union service organization of nine credit unions from across the United States. The Prizeout Partners CUSO, which Callahan and Associates assembled, gains access to Prizeout’s proprietary ad technology to bring more value to their members and to support local merchants.
